Wanted: an apprentice who will be fired up about marketing...

NORTH Staffordshire energy efficiency experts are on the lookout for an apprentice who will ‘warm’ to a career in marketing. The Warm Zone* (NSWZ) wants to recruit a school leaver aged 16+ to join its busy team in promoting the work it does across Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle Borough.

A varied and interesting job awaits the successful applicant, including visiting schools and attending community events to promote awareness of NSWZ. But so far, the trail has gone cold in the search for anyone to fill the vacancy...

“This is a great opportunity for a young person just about to leave school and thinking of working in marketing,” said NSWZ Director Sophie Thorley. “The post combines professional training – leading to a nationally-recognised qualification – with on-the-job experience.

“As an organisation, we’re committed to the continuing development of all our employees, particularly young people. Our apprentices are trained by the National Apprenticeship Scheme, and we recently took on another teenager as our admin apprentice.

"Unfortunately, the Scheme has not been able to find us anyone for the marketing job, so if anyone reading this feels they might fit the bill, they should contact us immediately – we’d love to hear from them!”

Sophie and the NSWZ team can be contacted direct on 01782 479099.

Warm Zones cic is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all people with the necessary skills and experience for the post.
