Working to keep homes in Hull warm
Hull Warm Zone is a dynamic local partnership working to make homes in Hull more comfortable and affordable to heat, by referring householders for free central heating, cavity wall and loft insulation and providing a range of related help and support such as discounted insulation measures, energy efficiency advice and benefits advice.

Achievements
In the last three years Hull Warm Zone has visited over 35,000 homes in Hull. Many of these have benefited from free or discounted central heating systems, cavity wall and loft insulation, low energy lightbulbs and fridge freezers.

Hull Warm Zone has also helped householders to claim new or extra benefits, and given energy efficiency advice. Much of this success has been achieved through "The Heat Is On" (THISON) community events, which have brought together householders and the specialist agencies that can provide the very best help and advice.
