The Birmingham Energy Efficiency Partnership is Birmingham City Council and Warm Zone working together to make your home cosier and helping to lower your fuel bills.

The Birmingham Energy Efficiency Partnership (BEEP) are now working within Bordesley Green Ward following on with Hodge Hill Ward.

Our assessors will be working within the Bordesley Green streets over the next four months – a letter is sent to your property – please watch the DVD that accompanies this letter, which will explain what will happen next.

Each householder that takes part in the survey will receive free entry into a monthly draw for a chance to win one of four £50 shopping vouchers. You will also get

• Free low energy light bulbs
• Free Benefit Health Check (at residents request)
• Free Smoke Alarms – Fire safety check (if needed)
• Advice on fuel bills (at residents request)

The completed survey is taken to the BEEP offices where the details on the property are assessed via a database and a letter detailing the measures is then sent to you.

Please Note:

• Homeowners over 60 (or their partners) are entitled to free loft and cavity wall insulation (first come, first serve basis).
• Homeowners under 60, (not claiming a relevant benefit) will be entitled to loft or cavity wall insulation, at £149 per relevant measure.
• Homeowners and tenants of private landlords on relevant benefits may be entitled to a grant to cover all or some of the cost of insulation and central heating.
